Most of the ski resorts in Beijing have recently officially opened for the 2016-2017 Snow Season and some of them have even organized very grand opening ceremonies.
Many ski resorts are known to have been upgraded both in software & hardware while the ticket prices are similar to last year.
The 7th Ski Fashion Show was held in Nanshan Ski on 3rd, December this year and on the same day Shijinglong Ski Resort was officially opened to the public for the first time after renovation. As well as this, multiple parks in Beijing have started the construction of ski fields.
It’s reported that many ski resorts in Beijing have started to cooperate this year with Beijing Sports Bureau and Educational Institutions at all levels to provide a free one-stop service for the citizens through training courses. These are provided by the government as a type of public service. Approximately one hundred thousand citizens will be expected to take part in the program with teenagers accounting for as much as 50% of that total.
