Guangzhou-based mineral water brand Ganten on Monday announced a partnership with the 2016 FIBA Stanković Continental Champions’ Cup.
Ganten becomes the exclusive water partner of the tournament under the deal, brokered by Yutang Sports as the official marketing promoter of the competition. It will supply bottled mineral water to participating teams and working staff during training and matches.
The mineral water brand receives LED perimeter visibility and post-match interview backdrop branding with the sponsorship. In the meanwhile, the partnership also enables Ganten to start marketing promotions using the logos of both parties.
The FIBA Stanković Continental Champions’ Cup is an international basketball tournament for men's national teams held annually in China. The 2016 edition takes place in Beijing from 5th to 9th July with China, Nigeria, Argentina and France as the four participating teams.
Ganten is a leading Chinese mineral water producer based in Guangzhou with an established history in sports marketing over many years. The brand struck a four-year strategic partnership with China’s top division basketball, the CBA, in 2013. It was also the exclusive water supplier of the 2015 FIBA Asia Championship.
